Coach Information

Tee Ball Baseball

Coaches Needed
With about 16 Lil' Sluggers Baseball teams each year, we can’t do it without all the awesome volunteer coaches! If you are interested in coaching, please indicate so when you register your child, or contact us at the Parks & Recreation Department. CORI checks are mandatory for volunteers. Click here to go to the volunteer page and download the form.

NYSCA Clinics
There is National Youth Sports Coaches Association training required (NYSCA), which you can choose to watch online or attend a video clinic with our staff. The NYSCA program was created to help educate volunteers to become the best youth sport coaches that they can be! If you become a volunteer coach, you will receive more information on this training. Visit the NYSCA coaches training page for additional information.

Mandatory Coaches Meeting
Date: TBA
Once the rosters and teams are formed, a coaches meeting will be held. Program policies and procedures will be reviewed and team rosters will be distributed. If you indicated on the registration form that you would like to coach, or reached out to the Parks & Recreation Department, you should receive a letter about this meeting. Important information will be covered in this meeting, so it is imperative that all volunteer coaches attend. If you are unable to make the meeting, please email Brooke Fairman at or call 413-587-1040 to set up other arrangements.
