2026 Program Information

Get your friends, family and coworkers together and have fun playing ball! This adult league is run by the Parks & Recreation Department and runs from May through early-August at Maines Field on Riverside Drive. 

• Teams enter the league and are placed in divisions based on skill level & number of teams regsitered.
• Games are weeknights and Sundays.
• Teams will compete in a 20 game regular season and double elimination playoffs.
• Team entry costs are charged to cover league operations.
• Deadline to enter a team is Thursday, April 16, 2026.

Forms must be filled out and submitted to the Parks and Recreation office. Forms can be dropped off, mailed in or left in our locked drop box outside our front door after hours.

PLAYOFFS

• Playoffs are scheduled to take place after the conclusion of regular season (TBD).
• Teams should be prepared to play any day with short notice if there are cancellations due to weather.
• WINNING teams should report game scores immediately after the completion of the game so brackets can be updated asap.

2026 Adult Softball League Manager Meeting

Date: Thursday, April 2, 2026
Time: Coed League - 6:00 PM | Men's League - 6:45 PM
Location: Parks & Rec Office, 100A Bridge Road, Florence, MA
The office is on the grounds of JFK Middle School. Enter the main driveway and go to the right of the school. We are located in a separate gray building on the right. 

This meeting is for Team Managers that are interested in entering a team into the league for either/both the Spring/Summer and/or Fall season(s). Flyers, Roster Forms and Player Conduct Forms for the spring/summer season will be available for distribution. This meeting will cover league information on rules/regulations and administration.
