The Home Modification Loan Program provides no-interest loans to modify the homes of adults and children with disabilities.The HMLP provides loans for home modifications, helping individuals with disabilities and older adults live more independently. Established in 1999, the program covers various modifications such as ramps, bathroom adaptations, and additional living space.

Get the Lead Out Program
The Get the Lead Out Program is designed to provide low-cost financing to owners of 1-4 family properties to remove hazardous lead paint from their homes and reduce the possibility of lead poisoning in children or for owner-occupied properties who are seeking preventative lead  removal. The program offers 0% deferred loan interest rates for owner-occupied properties. MassHousing is the administering agency for this program and funding is provided by a state appropriation.
