Help for Renters & Homeowners

Need emergency help with overdue rent or utility bills? Want to apply for a housing subsidy? Facing housing discrimination? Have a housing subsidy and want to save money for a home purchase or other financial milestones? Way Finders works with state and federal programs to help you find emergency and other assistance to address these challenges.

Experiencing homelessness?
Way Finders supports those who are experiencing homelessness with brief counseling, housing search support, and assistance with applying for RAFT for move-in costs. Way Finders does not directly shelter homeless individuals, but we will offer shelter referral information. We do manage family shelter units in our region. Families must get a referral from the EOHLC to reside in one of the shelters we manage.

Foreclosure prevention? If you are behind on your mortgage payments or have utilities in arrears, you may qualify for emergency assistance from the RAFT program.
